For all browsers:
Are you getting a download window when attempting to enter our online databases from home?
Do you see a pop-up window instead of a log in screen? If so, you may have a download accelerator loaded on your computer. Real Player sometimes installs a download accelerator automatically, or you may have downloaded a separate download accellerator.
If this is a problem for you:
1. Uninstall RealDownload from your computer.
Click the Start menu, choose Programs, then Real, then RealDownload 4, then click on "Uninstall RealDownload". The change will take effect after you restart your computer.
2. To keep RealDownload and override its action:
Hold down the control ("Ctrl") key on your keyboard when you click the link. Your web browser will handle the download as if RealDownload wasn't even there.
